I created Unshakeable Custom Homes because I enjoy functional, aesthetic, modern architecture. I enjoy the building process and using my hands to turn raw land into a beautiful home. Seeing the vision in a clients head slowly take shape through the design phase and further into the different building stages is immensely rewarding.
I believe in treating the customer right - its sounds cliche (we all know of the golden rule), but treating others how you would like to be treated creates trust. Like many of the clients I work with, I've been burned by contractors, so I aim to be the contractor clients don't hesitate to recommend.
A lot of the complicated processes in home building can be eliminated with clear, regular communication, whether with clients, subcontractors or material suppliers. Communication builds trust, which is a key component to any professional relationship.
I believe in craftsmanship, and presenting a product that my clients and I are proud of. So much of what we consume nowadays is single-use or throwaway, so building something that lasts while not sacrificing quality is important.
I believe in accountability to my clients. I work for you, not a national builder or a list of shareholders. I'm accountable to the people who choose me to bring their dream homes to life.

The Walnut House is a testament to natural light and open spaces. The main windows in the great room face east and south to maximize the natural light and to ensure passive heating, even on overcast days. The roof was engineered to maximize air flow and insulated to be warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The modern, open design ensures the client feels immersed in the surrounding mountainscape. The homeowner wanted a space to enjoy while they drank their coffee and got ready for the day. The first thing you see in the morning is the sunrise and the surrounding aspen grove.
While it may have been more challenging to work around the trees and hills during the building process, the Walnut House is a statement of thoughtful design coupled with modern architecture, and shows the potential of a piece of raw land in the right hands.
